Only 5 minutes away from the hotel you will find the sub-tropical swimming paradise "De IJzeren Man" and in the near surroundings you can enjoy golfing, specially in the Golf club Crossmoor, one of the most famous golf courses in the area. There are as well many biking possibilities and several biking routes along the windmills and churches. Enjoy the many yearly events such as: March 5, 6 & 7: Weert Carnaval, the parade is one of the best known in Holland. 3rd weekend March: Horse Market. Last weekend September: Fair in Weert, almost the largest, for sure the cheapest in Holland. Christmas in Weert: Visit the St. Martinus church with the famous and beautiful Nativity Scene, the second largest in the Netherlands.
